Double click on the video object in Preview window or in Timeline to open a Video Properties Window. This window will also be opened everytime you insert a video file.
Browse To choose a video file
Import audio To enable/disable audio Please make sure you have the original video file when you change this option as the video needs to be re-encoded.
Selected video range To select the range of video you want to be imported. You can also adjust the start and stop range by dragging the start and stop range arrow underneath the video navigation slider. Please make sure you have the original video file when you change this option as the video needs to be re-encoded.
Compression settings To set the video/audio compression quality. The better the quality, the bigger the resulting published file size. Please make sure you have the original video file when you change this option as the video needs to be re-encoded.
Show after The time the object will start showing.
Show type combo To change how the object will show. There are two options:
The object will only show for the duration of x second where you can type in the duration value.
The object will show as long as the slide is running.
When clicked To choose an action to perform when the object is clicked. There are 6 options:
This is useful to make a web link.
To jump to a specific slide.
This will play the currently paused slide.
This will pause the currently playing slide.
This is useful to make an email link which will open an email client when clicked.
Fade In To show the object with a fade in effect.
Fade Out To hide the object with a fade out effect at the end of its duration. Note that to be able to use fade out you must make sure the object duration is at at least one frame less than the page duration and the object show type is not set to Show Forever. |
